For WEISS automotive, the leading system supplier of the automotive industry for the manufacture, finishing, assembly and logistics of plastic components in the exterior area, Peneder implemented a 1,000 m2 arched roof as a covered area between two halls in late summer 2022.
The specialist in finishing small series and special colours for plastic and carbon now uses the dry, protected area for temporary storage and handling of the plastic components, which are produced for many luxury auto brands.
The single-shell round arched roof features light shells for letting in daylight and rests on existing supports, meaning no foundations or new supports were necessary. This made it possible to execute the solution for the medium-sized family company quickly and economically.
