Ellerhold Group

The Ellerhold printing company had several production and office buildings in the German towns of Radebeul, Witten and Zirndorf fitted with Peneder arched roofs. The customer was particularly impressed by the unique appearance and durability of the roofs.

The multi-wing production hall at the Radebeul location, seen in the foreground of the photos, was erected in 2022/23 and consists of ten 1,000 m2 arched roofs. Five of the ten arched roofs are combined to form one roof surface. With the help of external suspensions, it creates two 45 m x 110 m, support-free hall areas. In this hall, the arched roofs were implemented as a double-shell, insulated design with integrated light shells and SHEV systems. The support made of spatial steel structures was also designed, manufactured and installed by Peneder. Peneder drew on its many years of in-depth steel construction expertise for this project.

In total, the arched roof at the Radebeul location covers six halls with a considerable area of about 27,000 m2.
