Villach elevated tank

A double-shell arched roof was used to cover the elevated drinking water tank in Großvassach (Villach area).

The arched roof also shows off its strengths in this application, as it is ideal for covering technical systems for several reasons: Due to the large wall thickness and the full corrosion protection on both sides, the roof shell offers a high level of resistance to corrosion, noise, fire and explosion , earthquakes and chemical pollution. In addition, there is a static reserve in the arched roof construction, which leads to a longer service life.

Thanks to the simplicity and lightness of the roof construction, the system roof could be quickly installed even in the rough and high terrain of Großvassach. In addition, the arched roof can be easily moved, making subsequent maintenance work easier.
