In its company history of 100 years, Peneder has developed from a simple craftsman's workshop into an international enterprise with almost 400 employees and an operating revenue of around 111 million euros.
Start of the Peneder success story
A blacksmith's shop established by Anton Peneder in 1922 turned into a classic metalworking shop during the next generation. In addition to producing metalware for the construction industry, working with doors became another business area. Before long, the company began to specialise in fire protection and launched its own production, which was a milestone in Peneder history.
Super-fast growth
At the same time, steelwork engineering was gaining importance, which resulted in the development of hall construction in 1965. The Peneder arched roof has been produced since the late 1980s and distributed as a roofing system throughout Europe. Perceptibly an outgrowth of Hall construction, Industrial construction | Commercial construction offers a unique and complete product range and is distinguished as an expert in intelligent facilities.
Move forward faster with a trustworthy partner
Today, the Peneder company is being run by the fourth generation and has several branches and sales offices – first and foremost in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. There are two production facilities in Upper Austria – in Atzbach and Fraham.
